Also called the Ring of Fire, the fruit is used in its green (unripe) form as well as red. About 4 inches long, the Ring-O-Fire Cayenne has a glossy sheen with a fire engine red color. It is more commonly dried to be used as chili powder or chili flakes.
The plants are relatively short but yield heavy, concentrated sets of these fiery peppers. A good choice for short season gardeners.
